Wellness

If you’re anything like me, you could probably incorporate a few ahh moments” into your routine. What’s an “ahh moment?” It’s setting an hour aside to indulge in something simple, that could give you just the breather you need.

Before you pick up the kids from school, start to plan dinner, or take your elderly parent to a medical appointment, you need and deserve time to check in with yourself and reset. This could take many forms. One of the easiest ways to do this is to set aside a small box of indulgences. It doesn’t have to be elaborate or expensive. The box can contain your favorite warm socks, a good book, aromatherapy oils or that Godiva chocolate bar you’ve been saving to eat by yourself. All small things that can provide the slow down you need to rejuvenate for your next adventure.

There are so many valuable self-care practices women can bring into their lives. Some swear by yoga and therapy, others come to life when dancing or enjoying a specially-prepared meal. I love learning about how women bring wellness into their lives and will be sharing the best things I find on this page. Check back soon!
